Yesterday Wednesday was our actual 22nd birthday-date of births for
Yardbird, The Queen of the Blues, Headhunter Maupin, local legend Ellyn
Rucker and others. Today as we do every Thursday before Labor Day Weekend we
have a birthday party with special members, sponsors and friends invited for
a mixer with food and beverages and a live concert in out Oasis Performance
Studio, this year it's Rickey "The Body" Woodard, Paul Bollenbach and the
Denver trio of Henry Butler, Ken Walker and Paul Romaine, the music begins
at 6pm MTN time and cna be heard at www.kuvo.org

I returned to Denver yesterday morning after 6 somber days in Tampa, it
feels fabulous to be back in an arid climate where drivers respect the rules
of the road,  4 years and 4 months since moving from Miami to Denver, I was
unable to deal with the 95% humidity, the agrresive driving and road rage of
Florida drivers.
