This Monday, July 9th, we’ll present another edition of our feature…MONDAY WITH THE MASTERS on Beyond Jazz featuring an hour of one of the great, young artists in modern jazz, vibraphonist STEFON HARRIS. You’ll hear his great solo work including his newest band Blackout, and his many collaborations with the likes of Greg Osby and Charlie Hunter. Plus we’ll get the thoughts of Stefon himself as he tells us about his career odyssey from his beginnings in Albany, New York to the bright lights of New York City and the making of his Grammy nominated music. Listen for MONDAY WITH THE MASTERS every Monday at Noon Eastern/9 AM Pacific, with a replay Monday night at 11 PM Eastern/8 PM Pacific, and this week it’s a celebration of one of the up and coming young stars of MOJA, STEFON HARRIS.

Listen twice each weekend for THE MOJA REPORT, Saturday mornings at 11 AM Eastern/8 AM Pacific, just before Words & Music begins, and Sunday nights at 9 PM Eastern/6 PM Pacific, part of the Sunday Specials. It’s "THE MOJA REPORT with MARK RUFFIN,” and on this week’s edition Mark focuses on the music of the great John McLaughlin including his solo work, The Mahavishnu Orchestra, Tony Williams Lifetime and some very interesting surprises.

You hear from Wayne Shorter, John Scofield, Medeski, Martin & Wood, Kurt Elling. Mike Stern, Billy Cobham, Russell Ferrante & Jimmy Haslip of The Yellowjackets and more. Interview segments followed by music will begin each hour from Noon through Midnight Eastern time (9 AM-9 PM Pacific). It's “MONTREAL REVISITED” on WORDS & MUSIC, Saturday from BEYOND JAZZ.
