Dear JPL associates and friends,

I have never sent any emails to this list, but as a jazz lover and
originally a jazz record label (Heart Music), I am always interested in what
is in the minds of other jazz lovers as well as what jazz radio is playing.

Heart Music has sent you cd¹s in the past and is going to be sending you two
new cd¹s from the Joe LoCascio Trio and Darin Layne Trio.

The Darin Layne Trio is a guitar trio record that has jazz sensibilities
with rock influences, but definitely not straight ahead jazz. As a result I
wanted to send a description and a link where you can listen to ask you to
email me off list at tab at heartmusic.com if you want to be serviced.

The cdbaby link to Darin Layne is: http://cdbaby.com/cd/darinlaynetrio,
while the itunes link is:

The description from a local writer in Austin is: ³Austin¹s Darin Layne and
his confident fingers fly across the fret board, then the next minute he
might choose to calmly caress the neck of chosen guitar. His latest CD ³The
Fisherman² takes a jam-band approach to his signature jazz sound, fusing the
styles of Pat Metheny, John Scofield and Grant Green with his own
originality² -Jay Trachtenberg 90.5 K.U.T./Austin Chronicle

His debut trio c.d. ³The Fisherman² , which was recorded live with no
overdubs, reflects his originality and versatility. Intended to be a double
album, the first half represents a more introspective ³ECM² style, while the
second half brings a more aggressive rock flavor.

In conclusion, if you want to be serviced with Darin Layne¹s ³The
Fisherman², please email me at tab at heartmusic.com or call me at
512-795-2375.

Thanks, Tab Bartling
