Dear Sophia,

Thanks so much for your message. I guess it isn't coincidence that your 
message arrives as July 10th rolls in, Arnie's birthday.

The Center lives in that Arnie's students are now headlining clubs around 
the country and internationally. In the past month alone, there are six new 
jazz clubs in Jerusalem - all featuring gifted young artists who were 
Arnie's babies. They tell me how they still feel his hand on their shoulders 
and how they continue to play for Arnie.  There are quite a few who are 
absolutely world class - I smile when I recall how astonished they were when 
Arnie saw in them what they could barely dream of. 

I'll forward by next message a story I did last week that touches on Daniel 
Pearl and some of the early days of The International Artists Conclave, with 
a link to some stories, many Arnie inspired.
