[JPL] An answer to a Miles question Jae had

I am interviewing the great bassist Ron Carter tonight on stage between 
sets at the Regattabar. This is something new for both of us!

Last night he was on my show. I asked him about why Miles band didn't 
play much of that new music they were recording in the studio in their 
live performances. I think Jae asked that question here not too long ago.

Ron said that the new music was difficult music and Miles never wanted 
to rehearse. He said he wasn't sure Miles himself could play it live 
with out rehearsals. He said he was disappointed that they never played 
much of that music but he thought they were able to find interesting 
thins to say (to play) in those old standards.
