  Newport Festivals on NPR

Fans of the Newport folk and jazz festivals in Rhode Island will be able 
to listen to some performances from the festival online, thanks to 
National Public Radio

Starting on Saturday NPR Music will stream concerts on its Web site, 
npr.org/music <http://npr.org/music>, The Associated Press reported. NPR 
also said it would archive the free Webcasts from the folk festival, 
which begins on Friday and runs through Sunday, and the jazz festival, 
which takes place the following weekend, and make them available for 
future downloads. The jazz festival will be headlined this year by 
Aretha Franklin

Carlile and others. The concerts will also be broadcast live on the 
public radio station WFUV-FM, 90.7, in New York.
