[JPL] Jazz Goes To Church

A few months back during a discussion here online, someone asked me to 
post an announcement about my show called Jazz Goes To Church. It's a 
show I do once a year, usually around this time. It's a 4 hour program 
featuring jazz versions of hymns, spirituals and gospel music. Artists 
from just about every style of jazz have recorded and continue to record 
this music. It is an older source for jazz than tin pan alley or 
Broadway material. It should be part of the great American Songbook.

The program will air tonight from 8 pm until midnight. You can listen 
online by going to http://www.wgbh.org/jazz/ and clicking on the link 
that says Listen Live. The link that says listen to my program is 
actually a pre-recorded segment, in this case, it's the first 2 hours of 
my Kenny Garrett Spotlight.
