I am currently working on a radio documentary about the rhythm and blues
singer Lee Dorsey (Ride Your Pony/Ya-Ya/Workin' In A Coalmine/Yes We
Can/Sneaking Sally Through the Alley etc.) And I am in need of the
resources which this list can so wonderfully provide.

1) I am looking for any interviews anyone might have or know about with
Bobby Robinson, producer of Fire/Fury Records and owner of the Record
Shack in Harlem until about a year ago. Robinson produced Dorsey's
"Ya-Ya" and I'm looking for any interviews about this that individuals
or institutions might have.

2) I'm also looking for anyone who knows or knows someone who knows
about boxing in Portland, Oregon in the 1950s. Dorsey lived there in
the 1950s and was a boxer there under the name "Kid Chocolate."

Any help would be greatly appreciated. People can email me at dkunian
"at" Bellsouth "dot" net.

thanks in advance,
David Kunian
