Thanks for posting this fine Paul de Barros review.  Could this perhaps be
seen as something of a wake-up call that - yes - edgy, adventurous, creative
improvised music can be financially viable and even - gasp! - relatively
popular?

Kudos to the Portland Jazz Festival!  And kudos to Paul for continuing to
give this music a voice in the Pacific Northwest's mainstream media.
