Thanks for the information, Arturo. It's 9 degrees in Boston now so even 
20 will be a relief.

You can go from the Fairmont to the Convention Center without going 
outside. Near the front door there are stairs and a tunnel from the 
hotel to the train station across the street and from there you can go 
all the way to the convention center.

When we were there in 2003 we got caught in a snowstorm. We walked to a 
restaurant from the Fairmont. When we came out, it was snowing so hard 
we could barely see in front of us. We couldn't see any landmarks 
because the snow was coming down so heavy so we caught a cab back to the 
hotel. It didn't snow very long.
