I attempted to cut n paste this most interesting, provocative and call to
action editorial about the decline of music on public radio. Since I
received in PDF form i could not do it without losing its format

It is from Current, the newspaper about public TV and radio, Dec. 17, 2007
www.Current.org

The writer is David Duff, music director of Alabama Public Radio in
Tuscaloosa, is president of the Association of Music Personnel in Public
Radio. AMPPR will hold its 46th annual Music Personnel Conference Feb. 17-20
in Mobile, Ala. For more information, see the association’s website,
amppr.org.

This is a highlighted paragraph of his extensive editorial:

With all that public radio and other media are doing for news and public
affairs, these interests are no longer underserved in today’s media
environment.
But the audience for the greatest achievements in music is served by
declining numbers of stations.

I strongly suggest everyone read this and pass it up to your PDs, GMs, CEOs,
COOs, Board Trustees and all upper level management who make programing
decisions at your station
