Jae, good seeing  you at the Jazz Summit.  Hope you enjoyed playing in 
Rochester.

Jamie Davis is one big singer.  His years with the Basie Band served him 
and them well.  I was with him last fall for a week on a Jazz Cruise and 
he is such a generous person and a great singer.  I echo your thoughts

It's not just his singing that is outstanding but the band and the arrangements are top notch as well. Usually for me...standard II V flare doesn't work because of it's level of predictability but when it's done this well you have to play it.
