WDNA-Serious Jazz has begun  broadcasting from their new and improved
facility located in the center of  Miami along famed Coral Way in a section
once knowned as Radio Row just  outside of Coral Way and the "Miracle Mile"
making it much easier for  musicians to visit. When I was shown the new
facility in January I was very  happy to see that WDNA would get a home base
worthy of thier programming.  Perhaps now Mike will elaborate.

"Melodious Mel Lipton's Jazz Party" 4PM to 8PM on  Saturday June 28th was the 
First Show to be  aired from our new facility in Miami on Coral Way. Lucky  Me
It was smooth sailing even with the new board which I never had  used  and 
the installation of all the connections completed moments before  I went on the 
air. 
We did have champagne as the first sounds came in off the air.It  was
like a celebration of the moon landing. It was  nice being the first to 
broadcast. I put on Michael Valentine,Frank  Consola, Maggie Pelleya and Joe 
Cassera on the  air to say a few words and to be part of the Milestone Celebration 
in keeping  Jazz alive in South Florida
