I don't know about that but I do know that the argument has been made 
that LSD enhanced sensory perception.

That doesn't really matter any way since you can listen to the CD or the 
DVD today, even if you've never seen a tab of acid. So even if you 
missed every note at Woodstock, it can be heard today, high or not high 
without missing a note. To me, Hendrix version is a masterpiece, an 
incredible piece of music, even if you disagree with the idea of 
"adorning" the Star Spangled Banner. I'm talking about a musical evaluation.
