Think how much blues songs can change with a variation in the tempo. You 
can sing something like, "My house is falling down, the roof is caving 
in, My house is falling down, the roof is caving in. Me, I'm sittin' 
sippin on my bottle of gin."

I just made those lyrics up but try singing them as a slow blues and 
then try them as an up tempo blues.
