[JPL] About Dr John & Freddie Hubbard new releases

I obtained both of those releases through sources other than being serviced,
I got them from an award winning retailer, a long time supporter of the
station that we have a monthly trade agreement with as part of our total
underwriting package. I obtain may new releases not serviced this way,
including Criss Cross and Mosaic as well as dozens of re-issues from major,
indy and import labels. Moreover, I am able to fill in gaps of our library,
acquire box sets and many releases-old & new for our speciality shows. When
I was at WDNA in Miami, I had a similar arrangement. For many years I worked
eves and weekends in retail and wholesale record outlets and for 2 years
even owned my own record shop in Miami so I have many contacts in the
industry although most everyone has been forced out.
