Criss Cross is my afvorite "boutique" label, sadly to the best of my
knowledge they only service Bob Parlocha, Jim Wilke and WBGO. Here at
jazz89KUVO we have most of their recent releases however we receive
them
from the artists or as mentioned in another recent post of mine we
obtain
them from our local indy retailer which is a long time underwriter of
opurs
and frunishes us a monthly trade agreement and since they have an
extensive
jazz dept it benefits us greatly and our airplay affects their sales
greatly
as well to the point they will even special order CDs they may not have
in
stock for us.
The new Wycliffe Gordon "Boss Bones" album is on Criss Cross, very good
as
is the Tim Warfield tribute to Shirley Scott. Other non-serviced-at
least
yet, releases of note are Dr John & the 911, several tracks have
obscentities(429 Records) and Freddie Hubbard with New Jazz Composers
(Times
Square Records)
