[JPL] National Endowment for the Arts Announces the 2009 NEA Jazz Masters

It is so good to see Rudy Van Gelder getting the Award.  I have been 
submitting his name for the last two years.  I don't know of anyone who 
has rendered a greater service to the Jazz Community than Rudy with all 
of his wonderful recordings through the years.
