[JPL] jazz89KUVO bans Mp3 and I-pod tunes to be played on air

Our engineering crew in conjunction with our PD/COO Carlos Lando have issued
a ban on broadcasting any music from MP3 or I-Pod/I Tunes because they don't
have the sound quality we are accostomed to. We have top shelf equipment
from our on air studio to the HD broadcast signal with a fine reputation
around the country for our superior sound, everytime we have teamed with NPR
for the New year's Eve Toast of the nation we always receive accolades for
our over the air sound. heck, even on the few ocassions we play an LP, the
sound is better.

I can not comment with any technical data or reasons why as I am not an
engineer, however that is our station policy.
