[JPL] PLAYLIST: "General Eclectic", WCVF-FM, 6/20/08

This was another of those weeks when just about everything elicited some
sort of comment. But two diametrically opposed performances brought out the
most response - Tommy Dorsey's 70-year-old big-band arrangement of a Pinetop
Smith boogie-woogie piano piece, and Yuganaut's avant-garde improvisations.
The latter seemed to puzzle younger listeners; if they were my age, all I
would have had to say is that it's a recent ESP-DISK release, and all would
have been clear . . . To the list:
