He's an American, graduate of Oberlin College here in Northeastern Ohio,
with Bacheolor's degrees in both Music and Chinese.  While he's busy here in
the States and has settled in Brooklyn, he maintains an active schedule of
extended stays in China as well - heading there again in September.
