I didn't picture myself doing this, but I'm going to. I am thhe drummer
on the Origin Records release by Walt Blanton titled "Monuments". I read
my 'jazzproglist' every day, and I am starting to notice that names like
Sun Ra, Ornette Coleman, Art Ensemble of Chicago, Henry Grimes, etc are
surfaciong on some of your playlists. I am a big fan of this part of
Jazz. Our CD "Monuments" is 100% 'spontaneosly composed' music. I don't
know if any of you have seen our reviews, so i will add one to this
email. If you can play Sun Ra and those type of artist....you can play
"Monuments". Besides all that, we should support our Jazz Radio Warriors
when they release CDs. Walt Blanton and I are both Jazz Radio Hosts on
KUNV 91.5FM in Las Vegas....Please read this review.....and give our CD
a listen....Thank you for your time......
