Aloha Brad and Jae,
I spoke with Lenny White about a couple of months ago. I don't think
they've recorded new material. According to Lenny when they tour, they
will do much of the old material because that's what the audience wants.
Personally, I'd like to hear new material. I think that some new
material might emerge from the tour but it's not a priority. I look
forward to seeing them again. It's exciting!!!
Keep A Light In The Window,
Bobby Jackson

My understanding is that they have been rehearsing, but no new material
is being worked or recorded, at least at this time.
Aloha,

Considering this reunion....my guess is that they will record prior to
touring...if they haven't already. Chick usually does when he puts
together a touring ensemble. I would also guess there will be new
material. It could be assumed that the music would be of the fusion
nature and I'm very curious to who will play it? I know it's somewhat
premature but most on the list are familiar with their 70's work and the
assumed direction of today's RTF would in line with that. I'd like to
know who would play it...considering fusion doesn't get much play on the
format. This however...would be a MAJOR event for the genre. I
personally think this could also be a good thing for radio. Opinions?
