[JPL] A request

Hi folks,

You know I love all of you in the jazz community and I'm very 
appreciative of your support.

However, I cannot possibly spend 15 or 20 hours a week on the phone 
since JazzWeek is run on top of what's been about a 60-hour-a-week job 
since January.  If it's at all possible, please try to communicate by 
email.  I get more phone calls than I can possibly return, many of which 
could be handled by email.

Not that I don't like talking to people, but I'm doing work that bills 
by the hour, and that time is money.  After trying to right the ship at 
JazzWeek after a messy period and having to pay bills others were 
responsible for, I really need the work I'm doing now to level things 
off financially.

I expect my time to settle down after a current project is complete, but 
for the time being, email is the best bet.  I can answer those at odd hours.
