 Hello Jazz Lovers: 
 

Below is the weekly spins report for WGLT Jazz (April 28 - May 2, 2008).  This report includes all current releases in rotation. 

 

GLT now produces 76 hours of Jazz Programming every week.  Specific "over the air" broadcast hours are Monday - Friday from 9am - 4pm, Monday - Thursday nights from 9pm - Midnight, Monday - Friday mornings from Midnight - 5am and two Big Band shows on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7 to 9pm. 

 

During the 76 hours of local jazz mentioned above, GLT plays the new releases listed below in addition to classic jazz recordings from artists like Miles Davis, Sarah Vaughan, Duke Ellington, Sonny Rollins, Dave  Brubeck, John Coltrane, Wes Montgomery, Billie Holiday, Herbie Hancock, Count Basie and more.  We're also spinning recent releases that are now recurrent, and therefore unreported.  If you don't see your release, please reply to this email or call the number below. 

 

**In addition to broadcasting 76 hours of jazz and 33 hours of blues weekly at 25-thousand watts on 89.1 FM from Bloomington/Normal IL, and the greater Peoria area with increased power on 103.5 FM, GLT Blues can now be heard all day, every day at http://www.wglt.org.  Just click on "GLT Blues 24/7" in the upper left corner of our website.
