[JPL] Larry Vuckovich-Marian McPartland NPR Piano Jazz Interview/Performance

Dear Jazz Programmers,

An interview performance of pianist Larry Vuckovich on the legendary Marian
McPartland's Piano Jazz show will run this month on or shortly after this
Friday, May 9th.  The specific run date depends on when each NPR affiliate
station airs this segment.  We would love it if you would tell your
listeners about his Piano Jazz appearance before it is due to run at your
respective radio stations, and perhaps play one of Larry's solo pieces -
Blue in Green or Under Paris Skies Impressions - from his last CD, Street
Scene, or a solo selection from any of his earlier recordings.  Larry's
photo, bio and a recording of the session will be posted at the NPR web site
on Friday, May 9th - but not before - and will run for a week.  Here's the

Larry's new CD, High Wall: Real Life Film Noir, will be released next month
on June 17th.  Mark Rini and Josh Ellman of Groov Marketing will send you
