For the second consecutive Membership Drive we decided to cut the active
days on the air asking for support and concentrated more on pre-drive pledge
pitches, again it proved to be a winner for the station and very popular
with our audience. In fact so well received it was that we stopped the
already shortened drive by an hour after exceeding our goal.

THE KUVO SPRING MEMBERSHIP DRIVE IS OVER - ANOTHER SUCCESS, THANKS TO OUR
LISTENER-MEMBERS!

THANK YOU to all our listener-members, volunteers, food donors and business
sponsors for helping to make the KUVO Spring Membership Drive a success -
shorter and sweeter! The drive was a day shorter than usual, and ended
EARLY! Our final count is 1,163 pledges and a total amount of $112,556 -
12% over our goal of $100,000! The success of this drive proves - once
again - that shorter drives do work - thanks to your support!

Everyone who pledged between April 11-May 2 will be entered into our Last
Chance Jazz Drawing!

The winner will receive the following:

A Saturday night stay and dinner for 2 at the historic Burnsley All-Suite
Hotel! The Burnsley offers you the charming intimacy of a European-style
inn – and is rich in jazz history and luxury. Your Saturday night stay will
be followed by a Sunday Jazz Brunch for 2 at Dazzle, with music provided by
the vocalist Julie Monley.

Winner will be announced Wednesday, May 7th at 5:30pm. Thank you and good
luck!

JAZZ. Made in America. Enjoyed worldwide. Celebrated on jazz89 KUVO!
