Since a week later no-one else dug up this one, I cheated and found Midge
Williams who I'd never heard or heard of before, did find one track at
http://redhotjazz.com/browngal.html and apparently there's a Chronological
Classics release of her material. I scoured through a bunch of LPs, I have
a Fats Waller aircheck with an uncredited female vocal on The Joint is
Jumping and I was trying to track that down but to no avail. (But I did trip
over a Sidney Bechet/Martial Solal LP that I had misfiled so it wasn't a
total loss!) Thanks for the pointer ... N
