Pro Tools has made many musicians terrified of recording live. You don't have the same control mechanisms that Pro Tools can offer in the studio on multi tracking recording. You can get close to perfection on a studio recording with this software and this is one of the reasons many groups now sound so differently live. Now, more so than ever before, if you want to know what an artist or group REALLY sounds like...go hear them live.
