20 Re-issues Sept 2008

I have been a fan of ECM Records since I started listening to jazz back in
the late 1970's. I have several ECM recordings on vinyl and cd so was very
excited to hear about this re-issue series. In September 2008 the first 20
re-issues were released and I snapped them up from ODE Distribution here in
New Zealand. Next month I will again snap up the final 20 releases.

 

I have spent a good few hours this week listening to the collection and
needless to say sonically and musically they are stunning. I won't pick any
out for particular review as they offer such a broad palette of music, there
is something for every jazz lover and for every mood.
