Becca Pulliam -- who produces JazzSet -- just wrote to inform me that  
I misidentified the Kennedy Center performance featuring Anat Cohen  
that they are broadcasting this week.  They are from Anat's appearance  
at the Mary Lou Williams Women in Jazz Festival.

WBGO will be broadcasting saxophonist and clarinetist Anat Cohen's 9
p.m. set at the Village Vanguard tomorrow, Wednesday, October 22.  The
set is part of a week-long engagement at The Village Vanguard starting
today, Tuesday, October 21, and running through Sunday, October 26.
Anat made her Vanguard debut in 2007 and was the first Israeli jazz
musician to headline there.  She will be showcasing music from her
latest Anzic Records CD "Notes From The Village" -- #16 on this week's
JazzWeek Jazz Top-50 Chart -- with her quartet featuring Jason Lindner
on piano, Joe Martin on bass and Daniel Freedman on drums.  The
performance will stream at WBGO.org and NPR.org/music and be archived
online on the  "Live At The Village Vanguard" page of the NPR Music
website.  In addition, Anat's October 3rd Kennedy Center performance
during the Duke Ellington Jazz Festival will air on this week's
edition of NPR's "JazzSet."
