I could do two a month, I have the musicans interested. However that means
A) Blaise runs around like a maniac trying to tape the event and getting
mics in place and play on air host all at once
or B) an engineer is here and gets overtime (no way jose).
So it doesn't happen as much as I'd like.
However I just did a guitar trio, three guitars, and I'm setting up one for
a Hang, a steel drum type of instrument and violinist.

I just use 2 room mics and then the players walk up to the mic to talk
between tunes. I adjust volume for talking if needed. One of the fun things
is having the musicians talk and have their instruments in their hands
because guitarists can comment or demonstrate as they talk. Or just play
their own soundtrack to the conversation. Doodlin'.

For some musicians, this is a more comfortable situation, for others it is a
stress and they prefer to use the album trax.
