Steve,
I've caught a couple of these and am grateful for all that WGBH does to get these artists onto the air in such a format. Thanks, and highly recommended to others if you've never tuned in for these broadcasts before.

I produce at least a dozen live performances each year, sometimes a few more than that,
on Eric Jackson's program, "Eric in The Evening" on WGBH, 89.7FM in Boston.
We have an incredible staff of in-house engineers who mic and mix everything.
We have a 9' Steinway Hamburg D Concert Grand piano that is tuned before
every performance, if needed.
The hour consists of music and conversation between the artist(s) and Eric.
Usually we total about 40 minutes of music and 15-20 minutes of talk, split into short sets,
going back and forth throughout the hour.
In the past few months we have had Latin music brand El Eco, The Avery Sharpe Trio, pianists Fred Hersch,
Mike Melvoin and Ran Blake. Coming up in April and beyond The Kevin Harris Project;
Leonard Brown's Joyful Noise, drummer Ralph Peterson, pianist Yoko Miwa, Paul Combs Pocket Band.
We are booked into late 2009,
Steve Schwartz
