George asked <<< How many live jazz performances a year do you have?
Ones that involve a host and an engineer, in your station's performance
studio? >>>

We average 30 to 35 performances a year, artist/group, host/co-host and 2
engineers along with a studio audience most of the time

We have 8 or 9 scholastic performances-once a month during the school year.
We have about 15 shows during our 3 membership drives a year, then we have 6
or more performances for our Pro-Series when national artists/groups perform
in our Phyliss A. Greer Memorial Oasis Performance Studio with Bösendorfer
piano. We also have an annual kick off concert for the 5 Points Jazz
Festival and a Holiday Party concert. Monday night we had a thank you to
major donors performance that we did not broadcast. We will soon be
releasing Live at the Oasis-Volume 10, our first all new music double disc
set, Volume 6 was also a double disc set but it was a compilation of the
first 5 volumes remastered.

Our studio is often used throughout the year for bands to record CDs,
finally our studio is frequently utilized by guests for ISDN interviews for
stations across the country
