It requires either a magnifying glass or other illumination devise to read the tray card, but I wanted you to know that I wrote the liner note essay on the new Avery Sharpe recording, "Autumn Moonlight."  

Some of you expressed curiosity about the singer Jose James when his recording "The Dreamer" placed high on a few of the Best of 2008 lists.  Jose is featured on the excellent new Chico Hamilton recording, "Twelve Tones of Love," where he sings "Lazy Afternoon" as a duet with Chico's mallets, and "I Don't Know Why (I Just Do)."
