[JPL] Air Play Ethics Question

I've always thought when dealing with hosting concerts that the rule was
if you stand to benefit from a successful concert, it's better to leave
it alone. If I'm asked to host a concert and someone agrees to pay me
for hosting, that's okay because my being paid has nothing to do with
the financial success of the concert. If the concert sells 10 tickets, I
get paid or if it sells a thousand tickets I get paid the same amount.

To me, it becomes questionable if I am involved with putting the concert
on. In other words, if I'm an investor in the concert, it is
questionable because I do stand to benefit more if the concert is more
successful.

Using that same logic, the original poster would be fine because he gets
no financial benefit if the CD sells well. Jae's CD wouldn't fit in that
category because he does get a financial benefit that is related to sales.
