Dear JPL-er's,

I asked Ashley Kahn and here's what he replied...

"Word has it that what brought on the final seizure that put him into  
a coma was him arguing with hospital staff and struggling to get out  
of his bed, and then he suddenly collapsed. He never woke up again.

This would have been in Santa Monica, near where he was living at the  
time.

So I leave it to you to imagine what he might have been saying -- "
