Lots of listener response to the Irish folk duo, The New Barleycorn, who
will be playing in town next month for St. Patrick's Day. One listener
called their version of a Guy Clarke song "so beautiful and so touching, I
just sat there for ten minutes thinking about it." Is it any wonder I enjoy
answering the phone? Calls were also received for 19th-century French
composer Benjamin Godard's waltz for flute and piano; lovely stuff.
