Aloha,

I'm delighted to announce that the Jazz Jukebox Jury for JazzWeek 2009
will be put together this year by our award-winning and esteemed
colleague Linda Yohn at WEMU-FM, Ipsilanti. Thank you, Linda, for
taking on this task this year at somewhat short notice.

Please submit materials for consideration for the Jury to:

Linda Yohn

c/o WEMU-FM

P.O. Box 980350

Ipsilanti, MI 48198-0350

To be sure that your project is given full consideration, please make
sure to have it to her no later than Friday, June 12. (Suggestion:
overnight it to her, if necessary).

Important note: The purpose of the Jukebox Jury is to have radio
programmers make decisions on whether or not they would program material
based upon hearing it for the first time, and to "put them on the spot"
and test their ears. Therefore, material submitted should be new
material that has not been released and/or serviced to radio already.
In other words, we are looking for releases that are ideally soon to be
released (perhaps in the next 3-4 months). Again, please do not send
material that has already been released or serviced to radio, older
releases, etc. - only send new, upcoming or pending releases.

The light is on.

Brad
