Howard Mandel also speculated on this on his blog yesterday. It would  
be a great loss.

That said ...

Lee Mergner is a friend to many of us and a participant on this list,  
so rather than us speculating, I'd ask that we allow him to comment if  
he wishes to or respect his silence on this, whichever he would  
determine to be appropriate.
