Tigran Hamasyan, Aratta Rebirth Red Hail:
Forgive this shameless promotion but I need to know who might like to get
this CD,
We only sent Tigran Hamasyans new CD on Plus Loin to CMJ and some select JW
stations where we knew it would work. I want to offer it to anyone else who
has a specialty program or are after the adventurous younger jazz market out
there. If you remember Tigran was the Thelonious Monk Piano Competition
winner in 2006 at 19 and his previous CD New Era was while progressive still
pretty straight ahead. Red Hail is a combination of Jazz, World/Ethnic,
Rock. But the synthesis is absolutely beautiful. Tigran is now in NYC
continuing his studies under Vijay Iyer and is touring internationally. Let
me know privately. www.tigranhamasyan.am
And we have Judy Niemack out with about 30 adds in 5 days including WBGO,
KUVO, KJZZ, and many more.
Judy Niemack vocals, Jeanfrançois Prins guitar, Bruce Barth piano,
Rufus Reid bass, Bruno Castelucci drums,
Judy Niemack represents jazz singing at its finest and most accomplished.
Throughout her two-decade career, she has consistently bordered on flawless,
yet shes never become mannered or predictable
