I think Rochester is trying to avoid me. I had my ticket, ready to ride, 
shows and business at the station handled when I became quite ill. I thought 
of coming anyway but I tried that last year and it wasn't much fun. So I"m 
doing the doctor thing here this time. 

I so wanted to be there to talk about where we are going and the difficult 
times and new solutions. I can't believe I'm not there with you all. 

I hope it is a great conference and those of you who made it will just have 
to take good notes. 
I am missing you and the city and the evening concerts in the halls and churches 
so much. Enjoy the music and keep the groove going.
