I addressed this production quirk directly with Josh Elman at Groov
yesterday. It's definitely a problem for use on radio, but I managed to
play "Disc Joskey Jump" last night anyway.

There are some really nice releases coming from the Dare Records label, like
the Swing Masters series and, most recently, the Vignola Collective.
Unfortunately, the production of the discs, with one song atop the next with
no break in between, is proving problematic. The tunes cut off and/or start
abruptly, making them sound somewhat jarring on the air/stream. I'm not sure
what their thinking was on this situation, but they obviously didn't have
airplay in mind when putting these CDs together. We'll probably play the
Vignola disc, but the production on these discs will have me thinking twice
when the next one comes along. Anybody else frustrated with these releases?
